Eucalyptus is a lovely one-bedroomed cottage sleeping 2-3. The furniture in the living and dining areas is simple and comfortable adding to the relaxing feel of this quaint cottage. It has a pretty oak-beamed double room with en-suite shower-room and toilet. The kitchen is newly fitted and includes an integrated oven and hob and microwave. A comfortable settee converts into a comfortable bed for a third person.

The cottage forms part of Le Jardin des Amis - traditional accommodation in 5 self-catering holiday gites, each has its own individual terrace area and all benefit from our large swimming pool with poolside bar offering drinks and barbecue facilities.
Le Jardin des Amis is ideal for groups of any size up to 25 persons. Our accommodation in five traditional and comfortable cottages and houses is suitable for groups of couples and/or singles. The pool is a generous 12x6m with a sloping depth of 1 to 2m. The pool house provides a social environment where everybody can gather together to eat and drink after a hard day holidaying in our beautiful part of the world. Full kitchen facilities, a bar and barbecue make this a pleasurable experience for all. Let us take away the argument about who cooks and who washes up. We can provide a catering service by the pool on occasion at very reasonable rates.
Less than 300 metres away is the medieval village of Meyrals which boasts a boulangerie, post office, 3 restaurants and a bar.
The surrounding area has a wealth of activities to suit everybody. Less the six kilometres away beside Les Eyzies is the Font de Gaume, home to some of the world's most famous prehistoric cave paintings with the equally famous caves of Lascaux being a further 20 minutes drive away.
The bastide towns with their marvellous medieval buildings and the chateaux impossibly perched at the tops of craggy rocks will keep the most ardent sightseer in a state of bliss. The more sporting amongst us will appreciate the many activities available including canoeing, rockclimbing, walking, cycling and cave exploration to name but a few.
And of course for everybody there are the gastronomic delights of Perigord Noir, home to the renowned foie gras, duck confit, truffles, walnuts and wines of the region. If your preference is to relax and do nothing, the peace and quiet to be found beside our pool in the warm sunshine is the place to do it.

Cleaning	:	Your cottage will be clean and tidy on your arrival and we request that it is left in the same condition upon your departure. Full cleaning equipment and products are provided. If you would prefer to have your cottage cleaned for you, this can be arranged, the cost for this is 25 Euros per property + 5 Euros per person staying.
Is bed Linen provided	:	Yes, bed linen is provided.
Are towels provided	:	Yes, towels are provided. Towels provided may not be used by the pool.
Are beach towels provided	:	No, please bring your own beach towels.

We are lucky to have eight golf courses for all levels within comfortable driving distance of our property. Whether you are looking for a golfing holiday, or are happy to escape from the pool and sight-seeing for a day or 2, you will find the golf course that meets your requirements. Most of the courses cater for juniors, hire out clubs and have a professional available for lessons. Club facilities, driving ranges and practice greens are also to be found.

Further Details

Meyrals has more than it's fair share of excellent artists and sculptors drawn here by the relaxing beauty and underlying energy in the area. It is always possible to browse around their ateliers (studios) and admire their work.
Meyrals is also home to internationally renowned artist Pascal Magis. Pascal is always happy to welcome visitors to his atelier and who knows, you may even be tempted to invest in one of his creations.

A security deposit of 150 Euros is payable on arrival. This deposit (less any deductions for breakage, excess cleaning, etc.) will be returned within 14 days of your departure.
