A car is essential, we are about 1hr from the port of St Malo, 1.30hr from the port Caen, we are an hour from Rennes & Dinard airport.

This is a really romantic cottage full of character. The comfortable lounge has arched granite door and windows, exposed oak beams and huge granite inglenook fireplace with a log burner. One of the sofas converts to a double bed.
The well equipped kitchen has vaulted ceilings and double doors that lead to a private patio area, complete with garden furniture, sun canopy and BBQ. From there out to the shared gardens and pool area.

There is a covered communal veranda with table football, table tennis and various games to keep everyone amused.
External facilities

There are two and a half acres of gardens with open views over undulating farmland.
Beside the private patio area which has table, chairs, sun canopy and BBQ, there is the communal area which has a brick built BBQ, the ideal place for parents to get to know one another, while the kids play. We have had many an enjoyable evening with a BBQ and a few drinks.
The heated above ground pool is made of teak to fit in with the surroundings in the orchard. The pool is open from May -September.
The gardens are the ideal place to either relax by the pool, have a picnic under a tree, or just sit and read a good book while sipping a glass a wine.
There is a 14ft trampoline with safety nets, badminton, swings, boules pit, swing ball, football net, and basketball in the gardens, along with numerous games. In the covered veranda area there is table soccer, table tennis and a darts board. The gardens are large and safe enough for children to play.
Just down the lane there is an 18 km Patrimoine walk through lovely countryside or a cycle track that takes you into Fougeres forest.

Also nearby are attractions like Mont Saint Michel, water and floral parks, walking and cycle tracks, trout fishing, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, Chateaux, and numerous places of interest.
We are the ideal place for that weekend break, a house-hunting trip, that romantic getaway or that family holiday, group bookings also available.
There really is something for everyone in this beautiful part of Brittany.

We are really child and elderly friendly but unfortunately not for the infirm or wheelchair users. Because of the way the cottages are situated all the bedrooms are on the 1st floor.

We have a really good restaurant & bar in our local village 2 kms away. 5 kms will take you into Louvigne with its many shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
Brittany is one of the most popular areas of France with British holidaymakers and not far from the channel ports. Surrounded on three sides by rocky coastline, Brittany a region famous for its peninsulas harbours and miles
unspoilt sandy beaches.
St Malo - An old Corsair Port with a walled town full of seafood restaurants, souvenir shops and pedestrianised ramparts that offer a fantastic views of the port and the miles of sandy beaches.
Cancale - A small picturesque fishing town, famous for its oysters and seafood, plus there are some wonderful walks along rugged coastal paths.
Mont St Michel - The 8th wonder of the world . A magnificent abbey perched on an island joined to the mainland by a causeway. The abbey stands above a village, which is full of shops and restaurants, it is spectacular at night. Tours of the abbey are available in most languages.
Rennes - The capital of Brittany, a university city, which was ravaged by a huge fire in 1720. The beautiful 17th century Palais de Justice and medieval Place des Lices (Jousters Square) are well worth a visit for the half-timbered buildings.
Dinan - A medieval stronghold overlooking the exceptional Vallée de la Rance, Dinan is undeniably one of the most exquisite cities of Brittany. Still entirely surrounded by its ramparts, it has belfries, churches, convents,
timbered houses and narrow streets disclosing their secrets as you go along.
Fougeres - Overlooking vast green countryside Fougeres has retained all of the grandeur of it's glorious past. The 12th century Chateau was an outpost of medieval Brittany and one of the biggest and best-preserved fortifications in Europe. Fougeres old town still contains wooden buildings and hosts of shops and restaurants.

Booking Notes
A £140 deposit is required to secure your booking. A Booking Form with Terms and Conditions is available on request. The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival along with the £150 security deposit.
A £150 security deposit is required per cottage, this will be refunded to you after you leave providing it has been left in a reasonable condition and there are no breakages.
If the cottage has not been left in a reasonable condition then £75 will be deducted to cover costs.
