Le Petit Celland Detached house in tranquil rural setting. Stunning countryside views.Bedrooms and lounge are all a good size. The country house is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, with panoramic interesting views (see below for details). If you are driving there is private parking. Sleeps 6. 3 large double bedrooms.
The property is situated within 10 minutes drive of Brécey, a traditional market town with shops, chemists, doctors and a supermarket. The larger town of Avranches is 15 minutes drive away, with three very large supermarkets and all the shops you could want.
The house itself is situated in a very rural area between these two towns. The very large grassed area to the south (front) of the property is always available for the use of guests. There are several trees and beautiful views, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine (or anything else). The land to the west and north west of the property is also available for use, except when our sheep are in residence! An outside table and chairs are provided for relaxing outside.

Restricted. We are able to offer restricted facilities for disabled and/or wheelchair access. There is a downstairs bedroom and shower/toilet. A ramp to enter/leave the house can be provided for a wheelchair, provided prior notice is given upon booking. However, the toilet door is only standard width, with limited space inside, so help going in/out (without wheelchair) would be needed. The shower is also quite narrow so assistance would be required to access it. Any disabled person would therefore need to be accompanied by a fit person able to assist.

Yes. Our facilities are child friendly. The stairs, especially the spiral staircase, are not suitable for very young children. It is a condition of booking that the parents of young children bring and install their own safety gate and accept full responsibility for their children's safety.
It is also a condition of booking that parents of children of any age will accept full responsibility for their supervision and safety at all times.

Restricted. Some pets can be accommodated. Pets accepted, subject to £2 per day surcharge to cover extra cleaning on departure. It is a condition that pets are not allowed to enter bedrooms or sit on furniture.

We will be at the property to greet you on arrival and will explain all you need to know and will answer any questions you may have. We do not, however, live on site - so you will have complete privacy during your stay. We will give you the number of our mobile phone, so that you contact us if you have any queries or need any help. We will come to say farewell on the day of your departure.

Golf
There is a new golf course very near to the property, between St. Ovin and Avranches. It is about 10 minutes by car. There are 6 holes of between 80 and 120 metres. Being new, it is never crowded. There is also a golf driving range.
